It's all happening in Oswestry! Festival mayhem. :) Snuggling in between the OsLitFest in March and the OsFoodFest in July, we have the OSFEST - fantastic!
Now in it's 2nd year, this chilled music festival on Oswestry Showground over the May Spring Bank Holiday 27th to 30th May 2011 with a great line-up planned of local and internationally recognised acts.
"JAGUAR SKILLS has today been confirmed to open the show on Friday 27th May. Jaguar Skills kicked OsFest on Saturday last year with an amazing set that set the festival alight....
Already announced aree the massive chart-topping acts EXAMPLE and THE FEELING the huge, multi-million selling act TINCHY STRYDER plus current Top 10 acts LABRINTH and AGGRO SANTOS to the line-up for 2011...
For a bit of nostalgia from THE JAM led by legendary Jam vocalist and bass player Bruce Foxton will be bringing a bit of "modfest" to Sunday and BOOMTOWN RATS will lead the "pogo" revolution also on Sunday. Hits like Town Called Malice, Going Underground, Rat Trap and I Don't Like Mondays being played by the original band members is something definitely not to be missed...
No festival would be complete without GOLDIE LOOKIN' CHAIN so OsFest are delighted that they'll be back along with next big thing MISSING ANDY and new to the line up is the very much up and coming PARADISE POINT.
Largest May Music Festival in Shropshire.
...watch this space, OsFest will be adding more acts as they confirm....and that'll be very, very soon !"
