On Friday December 5th, Oswestry's streets will be packed with fair ground rides, carol singers, music and much much more.
The award winning Porthywaen Silver Band will be playing Christmas carols will be supported by various local choirs and musical groups. Street entertainers walk the town performing fire acts throughout the evening.
There's a synthetic ice rink on Festival Square where local schools are invited to have lots of skating fun, followed by the general public after 7pm.
As is now traditional, the fair ground rides will be along Church Street and Cross Street.
Santa's Grotto is in the Bailey Head, Powis Indoor Market, where you can browse for fascinating antiques and christmas gifts. Outside, and down Bailey Street, you can sample street food or buy that extra special foody goody for Christmas.
And don't forget the fantastic Firework Display in Cae Glas Park to round off the evening!
Charmed to my boots by Oswestry and the Welsh Marches. I happily do my best to support the fantastic independent shops and businesses in the area through The Best of Oswestry.
