Recently, I called in to Elite Martial Arts and happened upon the beginning of the junior grading - the very first grading for some. Many of the parents and friends looked on as Rich Cosgrove, Coach of the Year, took each and every junior through their grading paces.
What was clear from the start is that this is a well-run and respectful club. Every single junior was given the same level of attention and respect.
The juniors themselves were a credit to their coach and their parents. Each did their very best to meet the standards of the grading. Rich has a knack of being encouraging, supportive and truthful which the juniors clearly thrive on.
It was really heart-warming to see the excitement of each junior to hear the results of their grading - whether passing, or needing more work to pass - each clearly felt part of Team Elite, and that is a very strong ethos of the club.
I would thoroughly recommend Elite Martial Arts to juniors and adults alike. It's a friendly, honest and enthusiastic club with a great energy and atmosphere!
Ladies-Only Classes
There are Ladies-Only Classes running on Mondays and Wednesdays. These are great for fitness and picking up some important self-defence moves too. If you fancy giving it a go, the first two sessions are FREE to try out. Just go along on the night, or better still, give Rich a call on 07970 856 002 to answer any questions you may have.
