Is Shared Space the future for Oswestry?
Shared Space is defined by the government as: "...a design approach that seeks to change the way streets operate by reducing the dominance of motor vehicles, primarily through lower speeds and encouraging drivers to behave more accommodatingly towards pedestrians."
Could this work around Cross Street to begin with? Rather than being open to traffic or pedestrian, why not have both?
What do you think?
