"Shropshire County Council has £50,000 available to improve the Oswestry Town Green for quiet recreation, a place to picnic, a place for wildlife and birdsong and butterflies and a place for exercise."
The money is available from a government initiative called Playbuilder which encourages children in natural play, climbing on logs and boulders, making dens etc and so whatever we do here has to reflect that natural play."
