Information from the guild:

The guild cost each member £14.00 per year which goes to national headquarters to pay for conferences, the printing of the members magazine, each member receives this mag,  and general admin charges.

A separate cost of £4.00 goes to the local federation in shrewsbury and mid wales group and then the oswestry guild decide on a cost for each member possibly £10.00-£20.00 per year to cover the cost of speakers/hire of the hall (this has not been decided upon as yet).

To join the guild all the lady needs do is turn up at one of our monthly meetings and someone will inform them of all the information they may need over a cup of tea/coffee or can contact me as a start until we get officials elected and in place. Tel: 01691 657061.

Any lady over the age of 16 can join. THERE Are different speakers each month. There are lots of interesting things going on within the guild, one can be as involved as much as one would like to be, scrabble clubs, walking groups, afternoon lunches out with friends, or just come to the meeting once a month, listen to interesting topics,  to see friends and have a chat and coffee, other activities can be arranged if there are sufficient members interested, like theatre trips, bowling nights.

Oswestry will have its meeting on the fourth thursday of the month in the memorial hall in oswestry, 2-4pm.
