Oswestry Chamber of Commerce in association with Shropshire Chamber is staging a business breakfast and Expo event at Lion Quays Hotel on Thursday 22nd October from 8am - 2pm.

Oswestry Vision - connecting excellence - is a must attend event for any business eager to gain relevant and actionable insights into new and emerging markets, trends and technologies.

The event will kick off with a networking business breakfast at 8am. Keynote speaker, Head Economist Paul Forrest from the West Midlands Economic Forum, will look at emerging trends and explore the macro-economic and societal drivers that are creating dynamic new cross-border opportunities for growth in Shropshire and Wrexham, with a particular focus on Oswestry.

The Expo, which is free to attend, focuses strongly on future casting, future proofing through connectivity and digital excellence. Attendees will get hands-on experience of amazing new tools and technologies from the world class Barclays Digital Eagles team in the Expo's fully immersive interactive Digital Den - the first event of its kind in Shropshire.

Oswestry Chamber Chair, Jools Payne, said: "As digital technology advances at lightening speed how do we ensure our workforce is agile, responsive and able to embrace the digital shift. In short, are we properly aware of the potential for growth with a workforce and infrastructure that is fit for the future?

"By coming along delegates will be able to envision their business in 2025 and learn how future casting can inform executive decision-making to deliver competitive advantage. It's a really cool event that is relevant to absolutely any business in the region - whatever size, whatever sector. Best of all the Expo element is free and open to anyone who wants to drop in."

Visit www.shropshirechamber.co.uk for details of how to book for the networking breakfast and lunch or space in the exhibition.
