The labyrinth and water feature, which formed the central aspect of the stunning award winning Headway Show Garden, sponsored by Lanyon Bowdler, have now been laid at the centre on Oxon Business Park.
Sited on an ideal patch of grass, just to the side of the centre, there are plans to gradually add plants and vegetables to the plot, making it a living, working garden.
Many of the clients at the centre contributed to the finished project, which finally came together at the 123rd Shrewsbury Flower Show.
Case Manager, Frank Buzzard said “We are delighted we have been able to find a way to bring this part of the garden back to the centre. It will provide us all with a longstanding memory. Particular thanks go to Mike Russell, who designed the garden, and to landscapers Chris Bromley and Marty Salisbury for all their hard work re-building it.”
The progress of the entire project, which started early in the Spring, was recorded on a blog http://headwayshowgarden.wordpress.com, so that friends and family could share the journey.
