Tourist Attraction near Oxford
The Northmoor Trust is a rural visitor and tourist attraction based in South Oxfordshire, which manages an estate of 300 hectares, including Little Wittenham Nature Reserve, Wittenham Clumps, a conservation farm and woodland dedicated to forestry research.
From the top of the Wittenham Clumps visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the Chilterns and the River Thames. The Clumps contain important archaeology including a magnificent Iron Age Hill Fort about 2,800 years old.
Ponds and wetlands on the reserve are home to one of the UK's largest populations of Great Crested Newt.
