Goldsmiths, the UK’s largest luxury high street jewellers, has just opened a new luxury store in the Clarendon Centre, Oxford.

The beautiful new showroom concentrates on stocking leading luxury brands including Rolex, Longines, Gucci, TAG Heuer, and Tissot, and is the only stockist in the city for Rolex, Omega and Breitling. 

The manager of the new store, Richard Preston (pictured above) said: “Goldsmiths’ new showroom at the Clarendon Centre presents a unique and exclusive selection of the finest jewellery and watches in Oxford for anyone wanting to buy a really special piece. The team are all trained to help you find the item of exceptional jewellery and watches for you and your loved ones to treasure forever.”

In particular, he is delighted to be bringing a full range of Breitling watches to Oxford. He said “I am especially proud to be bringing Breitling watches to the city where our store is also the only stockist for Rolex and Omega.”

Pictured at the launch of the new store are Nasim Zargar and Alex Pigot (both 31) who were looking for an engagement ring. The couple are also both engaged in post doctorate studies at the University of Oxford. Nasim, originally from Iran, is at Lady Margaret Hall studying Engineering and Alex, Zoolology.

Mary & John King from Nuneham Courtney are celebrating their silver wedding anniversary with a trip to Rome - and watches for each other. John bought Mary a TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch with a diamond bezel and ceramic case.

Sometimes, it is about buying a treat for yourself. Nigel Gray (pictured above), a retired engineer from Aylesbury, added another watch to his collection, and bought an Omega Seamaster. He said: “I love to come to Oxford, especially this particular store. Richard, Thomas and Emma have all been fantastic and it is a pleasure to come here.”
