Goeff and I have been members at Studley Wood for 10 years, for the last three years this club has been owned by Mr Ian Darby and Mr Ken Heathcote. These two gentleman have put their heart and soul into making this good golf club into a great one.
The course is very challenging and whilst we are very loyal we can, with hand on heart, say that Studley greens are the best for miles around.As with any other course there are on going repair and maintenance issues, however these are being dealt with as and when funds allow.
Off the course there are excellent practise facilities, and these are regularly used for junior and county classes.
The clubhouse, whilst compact, is perfectly formed and caters for the everyday requirements of the club memebers as well as those special events like Birthday/Christmas parties.
Clum member are extremely friendly and encouraging and if you are looking to join a friendly, active club with a great social life then Studley wood's for you.

On behalf of the Officers and Members of the UKSGA, I wish to express our thanks to you and all your commited Staff for the splendid hospitality shown to us during our recent visit to your beautiful Course.
Our Midlands Championship was a great success and an enormous part of that success was directly attributed to your good self and your willing and cheerful Staff.
In particular, I would like you to pass on our appreciation to the Bar/Restaurant Staff, namely Sara, Kerry and Belinda. Their enthusiasm and cheerfulness made our visit that much more enjoyable. Nothing seemed too much trouble and their happy disposition made everyone feel so welcome.
Our thanks also go to your Professional Shop Staff, especially Oscar for his continued concern that all our golfing needs were met without any problems.
As you are aware, many of our members have represented their Countries and have had a seasoned golf life in the higher echelons of the game. I feel they have an historic ability to be able to judge a good golf course from any other. Their praise for the Course and the quality and condition of the putting surfaces has to be passed on to your Green Staff, which I'm sure you will be able to do.

Wittenham Clumps is a fabulous outdoor space just a stones throw from central Oxford. I canʼt recommend it highly enough for a trip out and change from the flat landscape of most of Oxford. The Northmoor trust do a fantastic job of connecting people with these wonderful natural surroundings and working with the local community to protect and preserve things. They certainly deserve your support and youʼll have a great time too.

Hi all, itʼs Nick Harris here from AquaHeat Oxford plumbing and heating. I work all over Oxfordshire and in the past I have listened to Fox / R2.
From building sites to private houses and in my van!! I got really bored of listening to loads of ads, then one tune, then loads of ads etc. etc. On R2 there was too much talking, and I got fed up with hearing the same song 5-10 times in one day!
I then, by chance, tuned into Jack FM about a week into going on air and I havenʼt looked back. Iʼve been playing it non-stop!!!! Itʼs sooo good to hear tunes from the seventies and eighties that you only may hear once on Steve Wrightʼs
show, and thereʼs no guarantee of that!
With Jack, those types of tunes are on 24/7 and the ads are alot less impeding and, frankly interesting and funny!!!
I have converted many a builder/plumber/sparky and will continue to do so!!! Thanks so much Jack for coming to Oxfordshireʼs rescue!!!
