As always, you can start your weekend at the Farmers Markets (Friday for Haverfordwest, Saturday for Fishguard) to stock up on the good stuff :) Maybe you’ll find some makings for some cooking fun with the kids over half-term? Helping them learn where our food comes from and making the connection between the local farmers and the meals we cook is an enjoyable lesson in itself! Castell Henllys has all kinds of activites for wannabe warriors over the half-term and Druid School is just one of them. The Fishguard Autumn Festival takes place in the town from Tuesday 27th until Sunday 1st November so there’s bound to be an opportunity to pay a visit. There will be a kid’s Halloween party at Pater Hall in Pembroke Dock on Wednesday 28th between 12pm and 3pm. The Big Bang Weekend at Saundersfoot starts on Friday with the Halloween Trick or Treat Trail that culminates in The Sands and also involves the Spooky Bat Trail which follows clues around the shop windows – will you be the winner?
