A small, low-tide sand and shingle beach not far from Trefin. The beach is great for rock pooling although swimming is not really suitable for swimming. It is surrounded by high cliffs the beach is sheltered from prevailing winds and is an ideal sun trap and a great place to bathe during the summer. Caution is really important when the sea is rough due to there being strong currents further out. The beach has its own little island, an imposing stone arch and a cave tunnel to walk through.

Parking

Limited roadside parking.

Facilities

No facilities on the beach itself, however there is a pub and a teashop in Trefin.
