A charity supporting locals!
Established by Doreen Wormell in 1991, the aim of the support group is to empower people to understand their illness more through infomration, education, signposting, and support so they can make more informed decisions on their treatment and future.
They also assist them through recreation, relaxation, complementary therapies and information, and to encourage them to take control of their own recovery and future well being.
Ultimatley they help them come to terms with their diagnoses, and encourage positivity, and to offer them support to move forward.
