In the days when the harbour was a busy stop-off point for trading ships, the stone building that is now the yacht club was a flour store.
In 1947 a group of keen sailors purchased the building and since then it has been extensively refurbished, turning it into the attractive building it is today.
The Club is used for functions, weddings receptions, birthdays and other occasions aswell as its busy sailing calander.
Fishguard bay is an exciting sailing area, it has a sheltered bay which is ideal for learners. The club is amalgamated with Fishguard and Goodwick Jemima Rowing Club.
