This week thebestof Peterborough have been showcasing our businesses in Serpentine Green shopping centre in Hampton, talking to shoppers, and getting those all important recommendations for the best businesses in Peterborough.

Serpentine Green, one of thebestof Peterborough's newest members, have given us a prime exhibition spot outside the 24-hour Tesco store in the shopping centre. The supermarket draws thousands of customers to the shopping centre every day, meaning weâve had the chance to speak to hundreds of Peterborians and spread the message as they come and go to do their shop.

We've been set up there since Wednesday, and will be staying until the end of Sunday, gaining all important exposure for the businesses we work with.

We have had cameo appearances from '62 Love Me Do, Forever Living Products and Serenity Loves, and we've collected over 100 new recommendations from shoppers for the very best businesses in Peterborough.

With 3 more days worth of exhibiting, we hope to increase that number significantly, so that we can be sure to bring the very best recommendations to the people of Peterborough.

Even those businesses who couldn't spare the time to visit us have benefited. We've been handing out their flyers and business cards and talking to passers-by about the services they all provide, providing our own recommendations in return for theirs.

There are also prizes up for grabs for shoppers who recommend local businesses. Serenity Loves are offering a free teeth whitening treatment worth £99, SKS Auto Services are giving away a free air conditioning service worth £80, and Studio One Photography have a free family photo shoot worth £50 up for grabs.

Thebestof Peterborough have a wider and more permanent presence in Serpentine Green as well. Once we're finished exhibiting this weekend, we will leave behind posters and banners to spread our message. Some are already up in bathrooms, as can be seen in the photos below.
