Wales Air Ambulance is actively looking for new volunteers across Pontypridd and surrounding areas to assist with fundraising and various charitable activities.
Each year the helicopter charity attends on average 2,500 missions across Wales. With four aircraft located in South, Mid and North Wales, the helicopters can be anywhere in the country within twenty minutes. The charity relies solely on support from the Welsh public to help raise the £6.5 million required to continue operating the service.
Carrying some of the most pioneering medical equipment on board along with Consultant Doctors and Critical Care Practitioners, Wales Air Ambulance really is a flying Emergency Department, offering advanced care to those who need it most.
Volunteering for Wales Air Ambulance can be very rewarding with the chance to meet new people, develop skills and genuinely make a difference across local communities. As a volunteer you’ll not only gain valuable experience, but it also looks great on the CV.
