Doesn’t sound a tricky question does it? Most people it appears think that Lent lasts about a month. However there is some debate about the exact number of days… Looking at opinions on the internet (all seeing, all knowing Google!).
Lent this year appears to last 44 days from start to finish. Whoa, so much longer than a week. This suits me as I am taking up eating green veggies this year instead of giving something up. So far I have had some success with broccoli and positive pleasure in a bean burger. It is green beans next!!!
My lovely partner is by far the better cook, and he loves all things veggies (no comments please).
He is going to introduce very fine sliced runner beans. The plan is to cook these alongside a steak, general non-green veg and a pepper sauce – helping to modify the taste of the green beans, just to get me started on them. This recipe is great as it contains yummy protein to keep me feeling fuller for longer and healthy veg. All together the recommended colourful evening meal, and if Herbalife protein powder is used to thicken the sauce, then that’s all to the good.
Off to do my Curves workout now so I can get my appetite up and calories off!!
