Next time you're in Pontypridd town centre it may be worth visiting Pontypridd's Museum and taking in some of our very own history.
This fantastic venue has also been voted one of the top in the UK in the 2014 local & loved awards.
There's lots of exhibitions happening all year round so there's soemthing for everyone.
Pontypridd Museum occupies Tabernacl Chapel, at the north end of the town. The chapel was built in 1861, and still has its pipe-organ and unusually decorative interior, which has recently been restored. It was purchased by Pontypridd Town Council in 1983 and re-opened as the town’s museum in 1986
