This "Late Summer" Bank Holiday sees a massive number of events and things to do. There is the Circus on the common, the kite festival, a funfair on the common (as well as our permanent funfair at Clarence Pier), the Bandstand on Saturday and Sunday, (this Sunday is the last of the year, featuring tribute bands Hairforce 5 and the Band of Wonder- a Stevie Wonder covers band, and is later than usual at 6pm to 9:30 pm) There will be fireworks at 9:30 pm Sunday.
We can't forget the Victorious Festival on Saturday and Sunday in the Historic Dockyard, starring Level 42, Maximo Park Charlotte Church, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, The Feeling, DJ Yoda, Mike Skinner (The Streets) and many more.
