Southsea Greenhouse Community Garden has been an amazing project since we opened the gates in 2013. Starting as a completely overgrown wasteland, hundreds of helpers of all ages, have created a glorious garden full of flowers and food. Volunteers can spend time planting, digging or pottering or crafting, and we welcome people of all ages and abilities. However, without a regular commitment by our volunteers we can’t open the gates and that means passers by who love to meander up the path with their kiddies, their dogs and their grandparents cant get in. Problem! Smaller beds could be adopted by community groups who might like to grow for a cause, and keep the garden gate open. A monthly Community orchard group meet the first Tuesday, every month, when Goff will also be running a gardening masterclass for our valuable new volunteers. So dont be stuck in or bored call us on 07530913211 or pop down and help keep us open. www.southseagreenhouse.co.uk
