The BBC (Business Breakfast Club) in Preston is a well-established networking group with over 40 SME local business owners attending on a regular basis - and it's growing fast!

WHY SO SUCCESSFUL?
It could be argued that the BBC is 'THE' most successful Preston networking group.
Quite simply, the BBC has become so successful as a networking group because it adopted the opposite approach to many other networking groups in Preston - selective in who joins, restricts membership to ONE representation per business category and dispenses with all the formalities and enforced commitment to attend or cover absence. Apologies for non-attendance generally appear as a matter of courtesy but everyone understands that there are just some days when 'the day job' must come first.

IT WORKS!

Seven years on, it is rare to find less than the regular 40+ members turning up EVERY WEEK, to meet and 'do business' with their like-minded friends in the group. In fact, as anyone in the group will tell you, they are genuinely disappointed if, on the rare occasion, they can't attend. The BBC regularly has to decline applications for existing popular business categories already taken and coveted…but there are many more still available.
Without question, Networking at the BBC in Preston will bring you more business and at very low cost. It would be unusual not to see a significant return on your investment.

A substantial amount of business is passed and referrals given between members who would agree that this is based on a genuine desire to help the each other in the group - being close friends. As business owners, all the members are decision makers and so decisions and appointments can be made 'on the day' without the need to chase around with phone calls after the event. New friends are made, business gets done and we all enjoy a well deserved, fabulous breakfast.

8.00-8.30am 60 second 'sales pitch' for your business
8.30-9.00am Guest speaker, a member 30 minute presentation or open group discussion on business topics

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AS A NETWORKING GUEST?
The BBC understands networking - you will be made extremely welcome, expect some fun and banter, you will be encouraged and supported if new to the Preston networking scene and a little nervous-but most importantly, you will leave with a handful of new friends, some great new business opportunities and ideas, tips and advice from seasoned entrepreneurs….. and certainly motivated to start your day's work.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Suprisingly little compared to other less established smaller groups.
£100 one-off, lifetime joining fee for as long as you remain a member
£40 per month to cover the cost of the weekly Marriott Hotel Full English and Continental buffet breakfast (as provided to their residential guests!)
