Ask me what is my favourite food....there's only one answer -INDIAN and I've eaten in many good Indian restaurants !
But on a recent visit to Barton Bangla Brasserie, my expectations were taken to a new level ..... a f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c meal.
I can't remeber the name of the dish (although Affi, the really polite and friendly waiter did write it down for me and I've lost it !).....but it was a whole breast of chicken, stuffed with minced lamb and on a bed of spinach....the bits which made it stand out from the crowd, which were to die for, I can't describe in detail, only to say that it was just the most fabulous blend of all those indian spices.
It's not often that you come across a restaurant where you would drive that extra few miles, past other more convenient restaurants, because it is so special.
I highly recommend a visit.
