Event held at Redditch United Football Club, Valley Stadium http://tinyurl.com/3e5tkrk where new owner Sallie Swan showcased her wonderful function room and the on-going re-furbishements. Sallie and husband Chris took over towards the end of last season. The club have played 5 friendlies so far and have won all matches including Bromsgrove on Saturday 23rd July, 4-1. The teams are all looking forward to a fantastic season and moving up through the leagues.
Marc Pearman of Caterd4 http://tinyurl.com/3j6xb64 put on a Delicious Succulent Pig Roast with a Vegetarian 5 Bean Chilli which 'went down a storm' with the 60 plus business owners that attended.
Elaine Beaumont of Basepoint Business Centres supported the evening and promoted the Brilliant facilities available to small business owners for office purposes and also meeting rooms for other business owners.
Members and non members were all greeted by Mavis Barrett, Lucy Richards and Charlie Barrett, to enjoy an evening of networking with a twist to the usual style of business meetings. Mavis believes the emphasis is more about everyone having fun, with a bite to eat/drink and leaving at the end having met some new and interesting business persons.
Guests were split into groups in order to maximise their potential for networking, with as many business owners in the room as possible. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so much so most people didn't leave until 9:30pm!
Thebestof Redditch will continue to hold these productive evenings at their members premises, in doing so they are both showcasing and educating members and non members about that individual business, so helping to increase potential new business for that member and all other members.
