StakeOut, a pop/rock band from Redditch, entered a competition in which people voted for the band they like most, with the winners given a coveted support slot with chart topping band McFly.
Announcing the win on social networking site Facebook a band spokesman said: “We are extremely happy to be able to tell you we are supporting McFly.”
The band will play to in excess 3,000 people at the Birmingham 02 Academy on Thursday, April 19.
