Rily's win top prize at British Curry Awards, beating the likes' of La Sans who have won for the previous five years.
The British Curry Awards, now in its seventh year, are recognised as the industry’s `Oscars’ and more than 1,500 restaurateurs, VIP guests and celebrities were in the audience to see the results announced by celebrity chef James Martin, host of BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen.
Guests included London Mayor Boris Johnson, Employment Minister Chris Grayling and Conservative Party co-Chairman Baroness Warsi. Prime Minister David Cameron also gave a televised video message describing the event as “uplifting and inspiring”.
