A big hand for small businesses

Small businesses in Richmond have benefitted in 2009 from much needed grant funding from the Council.

Some £17,000 have been directed towards local companies from the Town Centre Opportunities Fund. Richmond Council have also updated their local business directory, which is now available online. Listing thousands of local companies, the directory provides contact details and information on services provided.

Businesses are listed by type, and by A-Z. Information is also published on training providers and London-wide business support organisations. There are also contact details for the borough's town centre managers and economic development team - the people to talk to for advice on grants from the Council.

Copies of the directory are available from The Civic Centre in Twickenham, the Visitor Information Centre at The Old Town Hall in Richmond, and local libraries.
