Showcase your work at largest open studio festival of the year
Artists from across the borough are being encouraged to sign-up to showcase their work as part of Richmond Council’s ARThouse – the largest Open Studios Festival of the year.
Run by Richmond Council’s Arts Service, this year’s festival will promote the fantastic creative communities based within the borough. The diverse range of work produced across Richmond’s villages will be exhibited over two summer weekends from June 27th to 29th and July 4th to 6th.
This year’s festival will be Richmond borough’s 19th Open Studio event, and will build upon the successes of last year in which more than 500 artists opened their doors to the visiting public.
Richmond Council Cabinet Member for Culture, Cllr Gareth Evans, said:
“The ARThouse Open Studio Festival is a wonderful opportunity for creative people to share in the relationship between the artist and their art. It explores the same environment and space in which the work was created and is a wonderful way in which residents and visitors to the borough can discover our creative communities.”
Applications to be part of this open studios event are now open, and will close on Friday 28 February.
For more information and to download application forms go to the ARThouse website and take advantage of this creative opportunity to join such a successful long standing borough festival."
