Do you have something to say about doing business in your local area?

There’s now an opportunity to share your views with Richmond Upon Thames Council through their Business Survey.  The focus is on:

Your local trading environment: what’s important to you and what needs inproving?

Your business and its growth: maybe you’re thinking of growing, moving or closing?

What your business ‘does’ and where: this will help the council understand if businesses of different type or location have different views.

You can find the survey at www.richmond.gov.uk/businesssurvey .  The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete and also gives you the opportunity to say if you’d like to be involved in addressing the issues the survey raises.

Why is the council doing this?

Businesses are an important part of the fabric of their communities, providing employment and services, whilst contributing to the very character of the places they trade from.  They may often have a perspective on their local communities that comes from a different angle to other stakeholders.  Capturing this knowledge is important to be able to respond to business and community needs.

This survey is taking place as part of the Council's 'All in One' programme. For more information on the All in One programme and what has happened so far, see www.richmond.gov.uk/all_in_one
