A therapy room, where people can enjoy health and beauty treatments, has opened at a day centre in Hampton Hill.
The new room at Linden Hall offers cut-price chiropody, massage and reflexology, alongside the popular hairdressing service.
It was created using a £1000 donation from Tim and Alison Cheers of Cheers Insurance Brokers, in Hampton Hill.
Carol Stratton, chairman of the Linden Hall charity, said: "We really wanted to provide these services for our members and visitors, but this level of investment was way beyond us. When Tim and Alison approached us, we were able to tell our members the new therapy room project was happening - immediately."
Deputy Richmond major Meena Bond who officially opened the facility on June 2, said: "This is really heart-warming to see such high quality services provided in a lovely setting. Our older residents deserve a touch of luxury."
Linden Hall was founded in 1969 to help people aged 60 and above with disabilities. The centre has already bought new chairs plus a widescreen TV and entertainment system this year, using donations from December's Hampton Village Christmas Celebration.
It is available for hire for classes, meetings and parties. For more information, call Donna Miles on 020 8941 2373.
