Christmas Lights on the High Street in Richmond for the first time this year!!!

The main High Street in Richmond Town Centre has never had Christmas Lights across the road linking up all the shops and this year 2015 we have an opportunity to make this happen.

The landlords along the road have given permission for lights to be attached to their buildings for the Christmas season for the first time. Martin Campbell commercial property agents with offices in Richmond require thanks for securing permissions from the landlords.

The firm that puts up the Regents Street and Oxford Street Christmas Lights has agreed to deliver the project and put Richmond on the map at Christmas. Please click here for a link to their work in Regents Street at http://www.timeout.com/london/things-to-do/christmas-lights-in-london

The full cost is £14,000 to put up Christmas Lights for the first time across the High Street from House of Fraser to the train station. Richmond Council have agreed a contribution of £3,500 towards the costs and this has been paid to the Richmond Business and Retail Association.

We are asking independent businesses in Richmond to make a donation of £200 towards the costs of the lights. For larger corporate businesses we have sponsorship packages for £1,000 £3,000 and £5,000.

As this is the first year, we expect a lot of publicity for the businesses in Richmond that make this happen. Please put the date in your diary for the Christmas Lights switch on event on Friday 27 November at 6pm.

If you would like your business to be involved in the first ever Christmas Lights in Richmond town centre please email info@richmondtown.org.uk or call 0785 401 3864
