The Richmond Community Toilet scheme operated by Richmond Council has been set up to allow visitors to the town centre to use the toilets of participating shops, bars and restaurants.
For older people visiting a town centre this is an important consideration and enables people to enjoy their visit.
Any business that signs up will receive up to £1,200 ( depending on location and number of outlets ) from Richmond Council for allowing tourists, families and visitors to use their facilities whilst open for business.
Over 70 companies have signed up so far.
Many businesses have signed up for a trial period of 3 months to test out how the scheme works for their business over the world cup period.
If you want someone to visit your business and tell you more please email andrew.bell@richmond.gov.uk
