For everyone not in the know, the Hampton Court Palace Beer and Jazz Festival is rolling out for the second year running. The event runs from Friday 27th to Monday 30th August - so just over two weeks away!
The festival starts when the beer and ale flows at 12.00pm and last orders are taken at 10.30pm. The musical entertainment begins from 12.30pm and the day is filled with three artists each day - check the website for the full line-up.
Bringing your own food and drink is a no-no, after all why would you want to what with a great selection on tap (including Pimms, cocktails, wines and soft-drinks) and food provided by the Sea Cow, Pure Pie and Eat Fat Pig. If you're having a hard time deciding which drink to spend your pennies on, just ask for a small sample!
Tickets have to be purchased in advance and come in three types - before 5pm, after 5pm and all day; different tickets are available depending on the day you wish to attend the event. At the gate, you will have to buy a Festival Glass (only £3.00), which you can either refund upon exit or keep as a souvenir.
