How quickly a year goes - well actually it's been over a year since I started writing for thebestof Richmond's blog, in August 2009.
In that time we've explored many of the local events and issues going on in Richmond Upon Thames and surrounding areas, and hopefully have made a difference to some of the local businesses we rely on (although possibly take for granted).
The time has come however, for me to move on to other projects, which while exciting, have less of an intimate feel with Richmond. I will off course still be living in the area, and will remain closely involved on a more social basis in all that our great borough has to offer.
thebestof Richmond's main aim is to promote local business and commerce, improving our economy, standard of living, and general environment. The team here at thebestof Richmond are fantastic at their jobs, networking their socks off at every opportunity. People are their business, and what Nick and his team don't know about putting the right people together, isn't worth knowing!
So I wish thebestof Richmond - and our tireless business owners and managers of Richmond - continued success.
Richmond is a very special place in which to live and work, and I for one am proud to do both.
