If getting fit and improving your health was on your New Year's Resolution list, Richmond Council have removed another excuse from your arsenal by their latest January scheme. You can join the four Council-run gyms in the Borough of Richmond throughout January - and pay no joining fee.

As a saving of up to £30, it's another incentive to follow that resolution through.

Joiners can claim this special deal at Teddington Pools and Fitness, Hampton, Shene and Whitton Sports and Fitness Centres

Membership allows use of swimming pools and gyms as well as attending classes, and new members will also receive a free leisure card which provides discounts on activities such as tennis and squash, and many more.

The offer is available to those who set up a direct debit account to pay for their membership.

To sign up, or for more information, contact:

Hampton Sports and Fitness Centre – 020 8941 4334
Teddington Pools and Fitness Centre – 020 8977 9911
Shene Sports and Fitness Centre – 020 8878 7578
Whitton Sports and Fitness Centre – 020 8898 7795

The Council Leisure Card service usually costs between £6 - £15 a year and offers discounts and special offers of around 10 per cent to cardholders. It will be free to people signing up in January.
