If you’d like to taste award-winning Indian food on your doorstep, you’re now spoilt for choice! Local restaurateur Moidul Hussain has just scooped a raft of high profile awards for his Teddington and Twickenham restaurants.
The recently opened Moidul’s of Teddington has achieved a remarkable feat, winning the much coveted award “Best South Asian Restaurant” in the Asian Curry Awards 2012. The glamorous restaurant has brought a whole new concept of Indian dining to Teddington, with the introduction of Indian tapas and cocktails.
Moidul’s Rawalpindi in Twickenham is already well established as one of the area’s most popular Indian restaurants. Using traditional Indian spices, but in an exciting and different way, dishes combine the best of Indian cooking with fresh local produce. The restaurant was highly commended in the category “Best South Asian Restaurant” in the Asian Curry Awards 2012.
Moidul proudly received both awards at a lavish ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane last month. The awards were presented by our very own MP and current business secretary, Vince Cable.
And if that wasn’t enough, just last week Moidul did it again at the BCA Caterer of the Year Awards, where Moidul’s of Teddington picked up another impressive award for the best Indian restaurant in the South East Region.
