New Wishes for Job Market in Richmond
10th November 2009
... Comments

Families across the Borough of Richmond will benefit from a new project launched recently.

Wishes aims to remove barriers to gaining skills and qualifications needed to gain employment and progress their careers.

Often, parents with few or no qualifications struggle to find meaningful work, or jobs that even benefit them financially.

Wishes offers advice on training and qualifications, and practical support - including in the form of childcare and assigning personal advisors.

The Children's Services and Education division of Richmond Borough Council will be running Wishes courses at Richmond Upon Thames Children's Centres, to make it even easier for people to attend.

For more information contact the Council’s Family Information Service on  020 8831 6298
