Residents in the borough who would like Richmond Council to consider their road for a 20mph limit now have the opportunity to do so online.
The new process, which still requires evidence of support from neighbours, will make it easier for them to apply.
Once a road is considered worthy of investigation, a speed and volume survey will be carried out, along with accident record review. Thereafter officers will meet with the resident representatives to discuss the results and suggest possible solutions.
