The Mayor of London is asking all tourism businesses to maintain their prices during the period of the London 2012 Games and deliver their goods and services in an ethical, environmental and sustainable way.
The leisure-facing London Visitor Charter will cover all ‘visitor touch points ’from hotels, attractions and bars, through to restaurant and transport providers. This selfregulating, voluntary code will help assure tourists they are getting value for money by highlighting all fairly priced businesses and attractions offering a friendly and welcoming service.
Over 30 big names in London's tourism sector have already signed up to the Charter including The O2 arena, Thames Clippers, Tower of London and Kensington Pa
Signatories will be given a website listing and you will receive a logo to use on your website as well as a window sticker to display in your properties.
