Remembrance day in Rochdale

There will be commemorations all across the Rochdale Borough. Joining in the parades and services will be veterans and civic dignitaries alongside representatives from the Army, Navy and Royal Airforce. the times given are for the start of the parade, please assemble 15 minutes before parades begin.

All parades are on Sunday 10th November

Rochdale Town Centre 10.30 Mere st via Drake St to the Cenataph
Littleborough 10.30 Harehill park to the Cenataph
Milnrow 10.30 Council Offices on Newhey Road to the Cenataph
Whitworth 10.20 Former Council Offices to the Memorial gardens
Wardle 14.30 Wardle Village Square to the Cenataph
Heywood 10.40 Tower St St James to the Memorial Gardens
Middleton 10 15 Long Street to Middleton Memorial Gardens

All parades will be followed by a service and 2 minutes silence for us to pay our respect to those who have fought so we can all be free.
