Green Vale Homes, a housing organisation in Bury, is challenging residents to brighten up the town by growing sunflowers!
The project has been created to encourage relationships with the community - giving people the opportunity to come together, interact whilst showing Bacup's 'sunnyside'.
This will be rolled out throughout the year and the end goal is to have a sunflower forest trail through the town by 2016.. Newground Community Garden Makers will be providing a number of planting workshops in schools and across various venues in the town.
If you would like your school or business to get involved with the project, just buy some seeds!
