Don't forget the band night is back at Dark Lane this coming Friday 24th September. 'Back to the Republic' sees local bands giving their all to an adoring set of fans. To 'whet the whistle' Rossy Club has not one but two cask ales on tap, together with the usual fare from Scottish and Newcastle ales.
Friday sees Bank Tops' Old Slapper on the pumps. At 4.4%ABV it was a champion beer at Antrobus Beer Festival in 2009. It's described as a blonde bitter which has an initial fruitiness complimented by a pronounced hoppiness in the finish.
Also back with us is the popular Moorhouse's Pride of Pendle. At 4.1 ABV an exceptionally fine balance of malt and hops give this beer a long dry and extremely satisfying finish.
Get yourselves along to the show or if you can't make 'Back to the Republic' we are at home on Saturday to Stone Dominoes in the Vodkat League Premier Division. Kick off is 3pm
