Annual Brass Band Concert
This brass band concert is back in Whitworth for an evening of music in aid of Rochdale Hospice.
For 130 years, the Whitworth Vale & Healey Brass Band have been entertaining music-lovers across the UK. Now is your chance to listen to this popular brass brand as they play some of their most popular tunes. This event is taking place on 11th October 2014 and will feature a performance from Elizabeth Philips, a professional singer.

Wedding Fair
A great event for all brides and grooms to-be!
The Riverside’s Wedding Fair, hosted by Bridges of Rochdale, will be displaying everything you need to plan your special day.
View photographers, cake-makers, stunning bridal dresses and much more. This wedding fair will be taking place on the 12th October 2014 and is completely free!

ABBA Tribute Night
Everyone has heard of ABBA; their music is everywhere, on the radio, in films, at your uncle’s birthday celebration. The UK’s top ABBA tribute duo, ABBA Glamma, will be playing at The Riverside, Rossendale on the 18th October 2014.
You’ll be saying “Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie”, when you hear that tickets are only £15 each with a buffet included. And, that’s not all; why not make the most of your night by dressing in your favourite ABBA outfit? Fancy dress is encouraged!

The Houghton Weavers
If ABBA isn’t your thing, what about The Houghton Weavers? This popular English Folk band will be playing at The Riverside, Rossendale on 25th October 2014.
If you love the relaxed sounds of acoustic guitar and folk music, The Houghton Weavers are for you. After forming in the 1975, this local band from Bolton have built up a reputation as one of the best English folk acts. Performing some of their greatest hits, The Houghton Weavers are not to be missed!
