Celebrate Rossendale Hospice's Woman of the Year 2015!
These awards recognise the valley's most outstanding women in a celebratory luncheon, whilst raising money for Rossendale Hospice. Rossendale Hospice provides care for those suffering with life-limiting illnesses through home help, holistic therapies and treatment. For over 10 years this local charity has been celebrating the women in the Rossendale Valley who have helped the community.
Applications opened in February where individuals were encouraged to nominate an outstanding female. Previous winners have assisted with charities, overcome obstacles despite the odds to benefit the community and made a significant impact to our valley. This event is about giving these women the recognition they deserve for their self-less charitable acts.
Nearly 100 people are expected to attend the celebratory luncheon, showing their support for this amazing local charity. Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal; there will be a raffle and a speech. If you would like to celebrate Rossendale's amazing women as well as help fundraise for the hospice, why not attend this prestigious event? Tickets are just £45. Last year's event raised an amazing £3489 for the charity!
