BEWARE! Zombies are coming to Rugby Town Centre?
On 30 October 2011 the day before Haunted Halloween there will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide when the Annual Rugby Zombie Walk takes place. This year the Zombiethon will be raising money for Cancer Research and the British Legion.
Local Zombies will be meeting at Caldecott Park in the afternoon and then will shuffle their way from Caldecott Park to the Vault Night Club.
It is hoped that the Zombiethon 2011 will be bigger and better than last year with more Zombies moaning and groaning and shuffling their way through Rugby Town Centre.
The walk which starts at 3:00 pm on the 30th October 2011 is just for fun but is aiming to raise lots of money for the Cancer Research and the British Legion.
With Zombie Walks a popular occurrence all over the world, this year it's time for all things sinister and scary to take to the streets of Rugby Town Centre.
Participants can dress, walk and sound like a Zombie until their hearts content.
The family friendly event, which should take around an hour to complete depending on your Zombie walking skills.
Zombiethon Organiser, Clare Plumbley said, 'I really hope all the Zombies of Rugby will come out on the day to help support the Cancer Research and British Legion ' We want this to be a fun event and hope as many people as possible will come along to support us'.
