Macmillan Cancer Support is inviting you for a coffee at one of several events in the Rugby area to raise money for the excellent work they do in the region and nationwide.
2011 is the 21st year of the fundraising Coffee Mornings, and they are hoping that this will be the biggest yet. Last year’s event saw 43,000 events nationwide, with 2.6million people taking part and raising over £8,000,000
50p of every cup of coffee sold at events on Friday will go directly to the charity to help them get closer to achieving their ambition of being there for every person who is diagnosed with cancer, and to be there at every stage of their journey, no matter who or where they are.
And businesses in Rugby are getting involved, with events throughout town to raise vital funds for services such as the 4,000+ Macmillan health and social care professionals across the UK.
