Rugby Borough Council has refurbished the 'Old Tool Shed' Cafe within Caldecott Park, with the help of the Caldecott Park Pastors.
The borough council has also appointed two catering coordinators who will run the 'Old Tool Shed' Cafe over the summer season.
Dawn Critchley and Jothan Butterworth will run the 'Old Tool Shed' Cafe with the help of volunteers, who will also help by running events and activites.
The 'Old Tool Shed' Cafe is situated in Rugby Town Centre, at the Lancaster Road end of Caldecott Park and is open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm every day, during the summer season, serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks and ice creams.
Chris Worman, Parks and Grounds Manager for Rugby Borough Council, said:
"Caldecott Park is the most visited destination in Rugby, with over 600,000 visits per year. We know from feedback that visitors would like to see a refreshment facility in the park, and I am really pleased we have been able to open it in time for the busy summer season.
"We have a number of large events planned for the park this year, and I'm sure the Old Tool Shed Cafe will be well used."
