Residents in Rugby can celebrate the Royal Wedding at a party in the town centre.
The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is the event of the year so Rugby Borough Council has joined together with the Clock Towers shopping centre, Rugby FM, Rugby First and the Rugby Street Pastors to celebrate.
The party starts off in the town centre with Rugby FM's buzz box, where you can record a message for the happy couple and youngsters under 10 years of age dressed as princes and princesses have the chance to win a shopping voucher. Also, a trail of crowns through the town gives visitors of all ages the chance to win prizes.
After lunchtime, the party moves to Caldecott Park, with live music from Molly Brown and the Lamps, face painting, circus rides, sumo wrestling, a BBQ, hog roast and more.
And, Rugby's Street Pastors will be around throughout the day providing a reassuring presence.
So get down to the town centre today and celebrate the Royal Wedding in style!
