A local hotel will soon be featuring on your screens!
Local establishment and thebestof member, The Grosvenor Hotel will feature in the new series of Channel Five's Hotel Inspector coming to your screens next month.
The popular television show is presented by Alex Polizzi, whose family owns a string of successful five star hotels. In the programme, Alex visits the featured hotels for an overnight stay to see for herself how the business is run and then gives her feedback to the hotel owner with suggestions on how improvements could be made.
Owner of The Grosvenor Hotel in Rugby, Raman Bal, has been working hard to improve the hotel since he took it over four and a half years ago.
Bal applied to go on the programme for the fantastic opportunity of having a hotelier of such high standing help him in his own hotel and he says that going on the programme has helped to transform Fusion, the hotel's restaurant. Alex was impressed by the quality of food at Fusion and encouraged Bal to promote the restaurant more, bringing increased numbers of regular customers to the hotel.
Filming was shot over 30 days and the developments made at the hotel will be screened over two episodes, showing next month.
