'Spooktacular of Fun’ October 2011 Halloween Half Term Events for Children at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, Rugby
At Rugby Art Gallery and Museum during the October Half Term week there will be some rather Spooky Halloween Events happening.
Halloween Fun begins on Saturday 22nd October with a Free Fantastic Firework Hunt.
Local kids will have the chance to explore the museum for clues on a spooky treasure hunt, as well as hunt out whizzing fireworks hidden near objects. There is a competition and the chance to win a prize! The Free Fantastic Firework Hunt runs throughout the October Half Term. Standard museum opening times (Closed on Sundays and Mondays). The Free Fantastic Firework Hunt is suitable for children of all ages. Adults must accompany children at all times.
Halloween Little Discoveries ‘Silly Skeletons’ Storytelling on Friday 28 October 2011
Enjoy storytelling, make a mobile and explore the resident skeleton in this fun-packed session.The event starts at 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm and is a FREE Session.
Please note the session is for children under 5 years old only
Adults must accompany children at all time.
'Let's Get Witchy!' Free Art Activity Events on Thursday 27th October 2011
Free witches' hat making sessions every half hour, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
Make and decorate a witch's hat to scare your friends. Decorate it with cut-out moons and stars, spiders and fake hair!The ‘Let’s Get Witchy’ Free Art Activity Event is suitable for all ages. Adults must accompany children at all times.e
On Friday 28th October 2011 Teenagers can work with International Artist, ‘Moose’, to learn how to create environmentally safe graffiti using water and stencils, in a ‘Reverse Graffiti Master Class’. A chance to create your own stencils and artwork to take home.
It is suitable for teenagers aged 13 to 16 years and will be held from 10:15 am to 3:00 pm
